Expert Autism & ADHD Assessments for Adults, Children and Teens in San Diego
Finding an accurate Autism or ADHD assessment for a child or teen with higher masking traits or subtle support needs can be difficult. Many neurodivergent children go unnoticed when traditional testing tools fail to recognize non-traditional presentations—especially in bright, articulate, or socially skilled kids who compensate well in structured settings.
At Transcend Behavioral Health (TBH) in San Diego, our team of medical doctors and PhD-level psychologists bring exceptional clinical expertise to every evaluation. We use evidence-based, neuro affirming assessment tools designed to identify the full spectrum of neurodivergence, including presentations that may be missed by standard screenings.
Our integrated approach looks beyond checklists to understand your child’s unique developmental, emotional, and behavioral profile. Whether you’re seeking an Autism evaluation, ADHD testing, or a comprehensive behavioral assessment, TBH provides clear answers and actionable recommendations that help families move forward with confidence.
At TBH, every child deserves to be seen, understood, and supported—no matter how subtle their presentation
Good Faith Estimate:
Good Faith Estimate Notice
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
We accept all major forms of payment: cash, check, credit card, FSA and HSA cards. Payment for services and any copays / co-insurance amounts are due at the time services are rendered.
