Knowing firsthand how life-changing it can be to have just one adult truly see you, believe in you, and help you move toward your dreams, I’ve always felt called to support children and teens in healing from trauma, emotional neglect, and grief so they can step into emotionally healthy, joyful lives.
I take an empowerment-focused, collaborative approach, believing that every individual already carries the tools to create the life they envision. Therapy, to me, is a partnership—one where I help you uncover your strengths, recognize your personal power, and build the confidence to use them. My role is to walk alongside you, supporting you in actualizing your full potential. I believe that—no matter your age—understanding yourself is the foundation for making choices that honor your personality and character. Therapy provides the space to build this inner strength and clarity.
I am a graduate of Loyola Marymount University, where I earned my Master’s in Clinical Counseling. Alongside my professional training, I also bring a wealth of real-life experience to the table. I never ask my clients to do anything I haven’t personally worked through, succeeded at, or overcome myself. That authenticity is at the core of my work—I walk the walk, not just talk the talk.
My international background and training in cultural competence allow me to connect deeply with clients from diverse backgrounds. I understand the subtle cultural nuances that shape identity, relationships, and emotional health, and I bring this awareness into the therapy room. With a complex understanding of the human condition, I’m able to help kids, teens, and young adults name the roots of their unhappiness or dysfunction and begin to see their lives through a more grounded, motivated, and hopeful lens.
In practice, I draw from Gestalt therapy, Play Therapy, Sand Tray therapy, DBT, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused therapy, Attachment theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and work with step-parenting dynamics.
Above all, I deeply believe in the power of family involvement. Healing doesn’t happen in isolation, and children can’t be treated apart from their families. Parents play an essential role in their child’s growth, and empowering them to be active, supportive participants is at the heart of my work.
✨ It’s my privilege to join you as you build a healthier, more joyful life.
